School District No. 88 (Terrace) (ne 28,29.2,3.4) Repina Ann TOOP, (978 Regina Ann Toop was burn in Austria in 1907, one of seven daughters of Juseph Hinger and Theresa Hol- meister. In 1908 the family came to Canada and setlled on ‘a homestead near Raymvre Saskatchewan. Regina lived in the Raymoré area for many years and became well knuwn as an excellent seamsiress. In 1929 she married Wilfred Toup and they had three children. In 1943 the family moved to Terrace, -B:C.; where her husband Wilfred was working un the new highway between Terrace and Prince Rupert. She continued lo sew for family and friends and often volunteered her ser- vices to make costumes for the Terrace Little Theatre. In later years she was a member of the Senior Citizens organization in Terrace and many times expressed her appreciation for the aclivities provided by organizations in Terrace for our Senior Citizens. Funeral Services were held in the Knox United Church, Rev. Martin vof- ficiating. Pallbearers were Frank Fruese, Glen Pratt, Jue Hails, Greg Sieben, Don Cooper and Harvey Horner. Hunorary pallbearers .were Dave Tumilsun and Ross Bowby. She is survived by three sisters, Mary Lowenberger, Agnes Fesser and Betty McReynolds; three children, - Edna Couper, David Tuup and Gerald Tuop; six grandchildren and twu great grandchildren.
