The Toffy Idol Contest is open to Vancouver Island residents
attending or enrolled in grades K to 12. This talent contest
aims at showcasing the musical talents of Vancouver Island
Francophone, French Immersion and FSL students during
Nanaimo’s annual Maple Sugar Festival du Sucre d’Erable.
Participants must register by January 30th, 2007. Candidate ©
selection will be announced on February 9th.

Winners from the 3 age categories will be announced and

wonderful prizes will be handed out. Come and cheer for your
favourite talent!

AGE/GRADE CATEGORIES -

- Elementary: K to Grade 3 = 5 to 8 years

- Junior: Grades 4 to 7 = 9 to 12 years
- Senior: Grades8to12 = 13to17 years

The TIC* has the right to place a contestant into a different age or grade
category with a flexibility of 1 year/1 grade.

PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES (1 category per contestant)

- Solo Vocal:
