Ganeral Comments Since 1985, the SSGC has devoted a great amount of time, energy and resources to Douglas Island. To date, there has not been any life safety related incident on the island. Furthermore, and to the best of our knowledge, there have been no complaints from neighbours in Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam or Surrey. Given that Douglas Island is private property and leased to one entity only, combined with its relatively difficult access, we believe that the opportunity to carry on club activities could continue without public safety g¢ pe Y FEM | PAGE
