BYLAW NO. 2597 Se ER Fan, 48.0 75 A Bylaw to Amend the “Port Coquitlam Fire om : Prevention Bylaw, 1991, No. 2578". : MAY 6§- 199] MAY 1 3 1991 The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open. meeting assembled, enacts as follows: Le Section 3.1.2 of the "Port Coquitlam Fire Prevention Bylaw, 1991, No. 2578", is repealed and the following substituted: "3.1.2 an Officer may at any time issue a permit for outdoor burning, in daylight hours only, provided: a. the property on which the burning 1s proposed to take place tg located in the A-1 (Agricultural) zone, and the actual use of the property as defined in the Zoning Bylaw includes either a “Residential Use” or an “Agricultural Use", and the materials to be burned are only those materials produced on that property as a result of the growing, rearing, producing and harvesting of. agricultural crops, fur~bearing animals, poultry, or other livestock." _ 2. Section 5.2.1 of the Bylaw is repealed and the following substituted: "Sol The owner of every hydrant shall not less than twice a year have all components of the hydrant inspected, serviced and tested by a qualified techniclan as required by Part VI, section 6.6 of the National Fire Code.” 3. Sections 6.3.2 and 6.3.3 of the Bylaw are renumbered as Sections 6.3.3 and 6.3.4, respectively, and the following is added, after Section 6.3.1 as Section 6.3.2: "6.3.2° All steel tanks and tanks constructed of any materlal subject to corrosion or electrolysis, installed on or after July 1, 1986, shall undergo a leakage test every two years after the tank has been in the ground for ten years.” . 4, ‘The Bylaw is further amended by adding, after Section 6.8.1, the following ap Section 6.9.13 "6.9.1 The occupant of any lands or property who installs or has any other person install underground storage tanks without meeting all the requirements of this Bylaw or feils to test any tank as required by this Bylaw is guilty of an offence under this Bylaw and is subject to the penalties under Part IX of this Bylaw." 5, Clauses (iv) and (v) of Section 8.1.4 of the Bylaw are repealed and the following substituted: ITEM | PAGE "(iv) Gasoline or fuel dispensing pump 20 .00 (v) Storage tank , | 20.00" bem were bet Si Shi haa — ; FINAL READING This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “Port Coquitlam Fire Prevention Bylaw, 1991, No. 2578, Amendmert Bylaw, 1991, No. 2597".
