Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Development Permit
subject to:

a. Successful completion of Rezoning Application 40/90; and

b. The applicant providing the appropriate warranties for completion of
the landscaping works; and

The applicants being advised that the Building Department will not do a
building code analysis of this project until a building permit is
processed.

It is recommended that Council approve the following:

A resolution authorizing the Planning Department to draft Development
Permit 42/90; and

A resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Development
Permit, subject to:

(a) Satisfaction of the engineering requirements;
(b) Submission of a complete landscaping plan, specifications and
securities, to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation
Department; and
(c) Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of
Planning.

That the City of Port Coquitlam assist the Kinsmen by waiving all
facility rental fees for the Terry Fox Hometown Run.

it is further recommended that the City of Port Coquitlam make every
effort to accommodate all other requests, as outlined in the letter attached
to Council Agenda.
