MMENTS : This application is for the second half of the block of land set aside for experimental housing. Liberty Homes developed the first half last year. The project is to construct homes, placing them on one side of the lot, doubling the width of the other side yard setback. Like the previous project, this one uses varying front and rear yard setbacks to enhance the street appearance. A new feature incorporated in this subdivision is to provide for visitor parking in the cul-de-sac bulb. The proposal calls for revising the landscaping in the centre of the bulb and adding several parking speces. Conditions recommended for approval of the proposal include registration of a convenant to ensure the proposal reviewed is built. Also, changes to the cul-de-sac bulb are to be protected by review of working drawings of the landscape plan and a performance bond to ensure work is completed satisfactorily. eon W.
