Mayor Traboulay referred to the matter of G.V.R.D. endorsement of a
donation to Seience World,

Moved by Alderman Laking:

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That letter be sent to the G.V.R.D., along with member muncipalities,
urging the G.V.R.D. to continue the practice of not making grants ona
regional basis to organizations seeking funding assistance, on the grounds
that member municipalities are best suited to determine where such assistance

should be directed.
