LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Remainder of Lots 35, 36, 37, and 38, D.L. 466, Plan 19410 BACKGROUND: The land in question is located between Westminster Avenue and Imperial Avenue to the east of Oxford Street. A total of 32. lots is proposed (see attached sketch). In order to make the subdivision possible, a 20 foot strip of Imperial Avenue has to be. incorporated into the site. Imperial Avenue is presently an 80 foot road allowance. The area in question has also been considered as a future single family residential area. The rezoning appears to be a logical extension of the RS-1 zrea. RECOMMENDATION: This rez oning application was dealt with by the Planning and Zoning Committee and the Committee recommends that approval of the rezoning in principle be given and that a public information meeting be held.
