. 1974 Municipal Policing. Report. - “Alderman Ranger suggested that rather than
complain, it is: time the R.C.M.P. detachment was commended , and he proposed
the following motion: |

That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam hereby expresses a vote of confidence in the work the R.C.M.P. are o_o

Raft Race to be held on May ith, “1978, pointing. out that the entry. fee. is

fees received for Coune 11 entries will. be, used fer ; a first prize. ‘Members
of Council generally agreed that the Gity should pacticipate inthe event,
and Alderman Ranger suggested that the members of the City's Fire Department
may volunteer to build a raft and that arrangements could. be.made for some

group to man it.

Raft Race being held to mark the 100th Anniversary. of. Incorporation, of the
District cf Maple Ridge on May 19th, 1974, from Mission to Haney;

THAT the entry fee of $50.00 be paid therefor; .

AND THAT the actual undertaking of entering a.raft be referred to the.
