The City of Port Coquitlam received three tenders and the apparent low bid was _ from Bel Construction Ltd. with a total tendered amount of $1,245,960.43 inclusive of GST. | UMA has analyzed the bids from the three contractors (see attached spreadsheet). It was” found that the low bidder was lower than average on 25 of 52 Items on Schedule A and lower. than average on two of the eight Items on Schedule B. Bel Construction did not have the lowest tendered price for Schedule B. Most of the anit prices greater than the average unit price tendered are within 25% of the © average unit price tendered for that Item, On six of the Items the low bidder is more than 40% higher than the average unit price.
