Accordingly, unless the GVRD Board received notice to the contrary from a
Municipal Council, GVRD will commence to prepare the 1985 budget for the
Electoral Area 'B' planning on the premise that all the municipalities will opt
out of cost sharing for that function.

May I remind each of you that each Municipal Council must formally opt out of
this function by resolution by October 1984, otherwise the municipality will be
considered to desire to participate in the cost.
