May 9th, 1983 /99

A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation
of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci| Chamber,
Port Coquitlam City Hall on Monday, May 9th, 1983 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J.
Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, D.J. Vater and M.R. Wright in
attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City
Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City
Treasurer J. Maitland and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor.

ZONING PUBLIC HEARING:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following
Proposed Bylaws to amend the "City of Port Coquittam Zoning Bylaw
1979, No. 1651" would now be considered.

Bylaw No. 1962:

To rezone Lot 350, District Lots 232 and 384,-Group One, Plan
31203, New Westminster District, from RS-2 to RS-1: and Lot 353,
District Lot 232, Group One, Plan 33046, New Westminster District,
from RS-2. to RS-1.

These properties are located at 1565 and 1567 Pitt River Road
and. are being rezoned to permit their subdivision te provide
additional sites -for single family housing.

No one was present to speak at the Public Hearing.

Bylaw No. 1963:
; To rezone Lots 1 and 2, Block 1; District Lot 266, Group One,

Plan 2423, New Westminster District, from RS-1 to RT=1.

This Property is located at 3172/74 Oxford Street and the
rezoning is.being undertaken to bring an existing non-conforming
duplex into compliance with Zoning regulations.

No one was present to speak at the Public Hearing.

The Public Hearing adjourned at 7:35 pom.
