Ald.Traboulay re Alderman Traboulay referred to the resolution passed at the last
mobile poll-senior citizens
Council meeting authorizing the establishment of additional polling
stations in the City for the 1975 Municipal Election and he stated he
felt some provision should be made in that regard for senior citizens at

Hawthorne Lodge and Dogwood Manor.

Moved by Alderman Traboulay:

Seconded by Alderman Laking:;

That a mobile poll be established for the convenience of senior

citizens at Hawthorne Lodge and Dogwood Manor during Municipal Elections,

Ald. Traboulay re Alderman Traboulay referred to the untidy appearance at the front

advised that this be rectified within the next short while.

Ald.Traboulay re Alderman Traboulay suggested that a bus shelter should be constructed

North of the underpass and Alderman Ranger advised that the Public Works

Committee is pursuing this matter.

City Eng.re rumble The City Engineer advised that while the rumble strips recently

have been received from residents and motorists with respect to the "
noise and excessive vibration these are causing; also a young boy was
injured when he fell from his bicycle while riding over them.

Ald.Mabbett re Alderman Mabbett stated he felt that Pinemont Avenue was badly in

impts.to Pinemont Ave.
need of repairing and the City Engineer advised that the Contractor who
is in the employ of the developer is coming back this week to do some
patching work and there will be a lift put over the entire subdivision

which will result in thicker pavement than would otherwise be the case.
