The Committee discussed the canvassing of all households in the City by

the Scouts to bolster participation in the newspaper recycling program.

Recommendation:

That Council be requested to approve the canvassing of households by the
Scouts on December 3, 1988 to bolster participation in the Newspaper
Recycling Program at a budget cost of f&4,000 including a donation of
$ 2,000 to the Scouts for their services.
