The Terrace optometrist first competed at the Peach-Tree race in Atlanta, Georgia on July 4. He was up against many of the best in the world. ‘7 finished seventh because of a lot of hills and I’m not great on hills,”’ he told us. ‘‘But I was happy with my result with a per- sonal best time of 24 minutes, ~ Clark up against the best which is 17 seconds better than my previous best at the Cana- dian Nationals in Richmond last year, ” Mark Quessy. and Andre Viger, both top Canadian -wheelers finished ahead of Clark at Atlanta. . Following the Georgia event, Clark flew to Minneapolis, Min- nesota for the ‘Kaiser | Roll’ 10-K. “It was a nice flat race: course.
