Le 8iéme Maple Sugar Festival du Sucre d’Erable organise a
nouveau son populaire concours «UIdole de Toffy » ouvert a
tous les éléves francophones et francophiles de la province, de
la maternelle a la 12e année. Ce concours vise a faire découvrir
les talents musicaux des éléves des programmes francophones,
d‘immersion francaise et de frangais langue seconde lors du fes-
tival.

Si vous aimez chanter, jouer d’un instrument en solo ou en
groupe et que vous parlez frangais, saisissez la chance qui vous
est offerte de partager vos talents avec la foule enthousiaste du
festival en février prochain. De plus vous pourriez gagner de
formidables cadeaux!

Calling all Rising Stars!

A reminder that the 8th annual Maple Sugar Festival du Sucre
d’Erable will once again be presenting its “Toffy's Idol Contest”
for young BC Francophone or Francophile performers. This
ever-popular musical talent showcase is open to students from
K to 12, attending a Francophone, French Immersion or FSL pro-
gram.

Solo singers, musical groups and instrumentalists waiting to be
discovered are welcome to apply providing they perform in the
French language and/or are able to present their tunes to the
public in French. Finalists will be offered the chance to perform
in front of a live Festival audience and a panel of judges from
both the community and the media. Cash bursaries and great
prizes are awarded to the winners of each age category.
