iy ty No person shall commence or continue the installation or repair or alteration of plumbing, sewers, drains, tanks, pumps and similar works unless a valid and subsisting plumbing permit has been issued for the work by a Building Inspector. No person shall demolish a building or structure unless a valid and subsisting demolition permit has been issued for the demolition by a Building Inspector. No pergoa shall occupy or us@ any building or structure centrary to the terms of any permit issued or notice given by a Building Inspector. No person shall, unless authorized by a Building Inspector, reverse, alter, deface, cover, remove or in any way tamper with any notice. permit or certificate posted upon or affixed to any building or structure pursuant to this Bylaw. No person shall do any work that is at variance with the approved descriptions, plans and specifications of a building, Structure, work or thing for which a permit has been issued, unless that variance has been approved by a Building Inspector. No person shall interfere with or obstruct the entry of a Building Inspector on property in the administration of this Bylaw. RUTIES OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR Each Building Inspector shall: administer this Bylaw; keep records cf applications received, permits and orders issued, inspections and tests made, and shail retain copies of all papers and documents connected with the administration of this Bylaw for a minimum of six years; establish whether the method or type of construction or material used in the construction of building or structure conforms with the requirements and provisions of the Building Code. The duties created under this Part are internal administrative duties only and create no obligation to any person other than the Council of the City.
