(5) That the City Clerk be directed to prepare the uecessary bylaw
amendments for consideration by Council and forwarding to Municipal

Affairs for approval.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The attached memorandum from Jim Hamilton outlines the background information
supporting the above recommendations. It should be noted that’ the
recommendation above relating to Water Area 2 has been changed subsequent to
Mr. Hamilton’s memo to correct his assumption that a main ow ricAllister, from
Shaughnessy to Maple, had been completed. In fact only a portion of that main
was completed in conjunction with the Pocomoco Apartment development.

The charges in Area 5 are reduced to reflect the deletion of a main on Eastern
Drive which Dayton.and. Knight have noted will not be required once. the Penny
Place Pump Station has been upgraded later this year. ee

The Committee recommends approval of the adjustments noted.
