BYLAW NO. 2072

A Bylaw to authorize the expenditure of monies
in the "Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds",

WHEREAS pursuant to Section 719(7) of the "Municipal Act", belng Chapter 290,
R.S.8.C., 1979, the Council established Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds;

AND WHEREAS i+ Is deemed desirable to expend a portion of the monies set aside in
the Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds;

AND WHEREAS Councit jis permitted under Section 679(1) of the Municipal Act to
ecquire property in the municipality for pleasure, recreation or comnunity uses

of the public;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counc!! of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitltam In open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Tne sum of $77,500 is hereby appropriated from the Development Cost Charge
Reserve Fund to be used for a capital payment, Including planning, engineering
and legal costs, for Providing public open space by acquiring title to that
certain parcel of land situate In Port Coquitiam, British Columbia, which Is more

particularty deseribed as:

Lot 90, Block "M" of District Lot 289, Group 1,
Pian 16702, New Westminster District.

acquisition of which parcel of tand {s hereby author! zed.

Should any of the above amounts remain unexpended after the expenditures hereby
authorized has been made, any unexpended balances shat! be returned to the credit

of the specified Reserve Fund.

This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Development Cost Charge Reserve
Fund Expenditure Author! zation Bylaw, 1984, No. 2072",
