MEMORANDUM APR 14 1980 a THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM C O UJ Ny C | L TO: Mayor and Council April 10, 1980 FROM: Planning and Zoning Committee Re: Proposed Industrial Development at 1733 Broadway and 1790 Cameron During the Public Hearing on the subject development on March 31, 1980, the owners of properties on the north side of Cameron expressed great concern about the possibility of using Cameron as a buffer. They feel that it would hinder future sub- division of their properties. : As a result, I met with these property owners on April 3rd and proposed to them an alternative to develop their properties. These property owners expressed acceptance of the proposal as a satisfactory alternative to subdividing their lands fronting on Cameron, for the reason that the proposed subdivision layout creates better and more lots. This plan however, requires the inclusion of 20 feet of Cameron in exchange for land taken up to provide an internal service road in the form of a cul-de-sac. L. Lee, City Planner
