Mighty Moe celebrates

Mighty Moe celebrated his
168th metric birthday on
Aug. 26 at the Happy Gang
Centre.

Mighty Moe is well
knowa a3 one of Terrace’s
most colourful characters.

He was born on Aug.°26,
1934 (so he’s really 62): in
Swastika, Ontario.

‘His father, Fred Beaudion,
was a railroader on the
Ontario Northland railway,
and he worked for 32 years
with a pick and shovel,
helping to build the railroad.

Moe’s mother Yvonne
was bom on a farm in
Louiseville Quebec, and it
was owned by Mae’s great»
grandfather, the Honourable

started his schooling in
Swastika, he was hampered
by injuries from an accident.
He bad fallen down the trap
to the furnace when his
sister accidentally pushed
him while she carried an
