November 17th, 1980. A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on November 17th, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, M.D. Gates, P.F. Ranger, M.R. Wright, E.W. Mabbett and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P.Eng., Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P.Eng., City Planner L. Lee, Clty Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. A. Leonard. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking advised the meeting the following Zoning Public Hearing B/L proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No. 1783. No. 1783", 1491 Pitt River Road would now be considered. By-law No. 1783: To remove the Zone Designation of RS-2 assigned to Lots 550, 551, and 552 of a Plan of Subdivision in process of a portion of Lot "c" of Block 8, District Lot 232, Group One, Plan 6314, New Westminster District, prepared by Robert M. Reese, B.C.L.S., of V.C. Goudal & Associates, British Columbia Land Surveyors, under Job Number C-3058-80, and to assign the Zone Designation of: (a) RS-1: to Lot 550 and Lot 551 thereof: and, (b) RT-1: to Lot 552 thereof. This property is located at 1491 Pitt River Road and is being rezoned in order to permit the subdivision thereof and it is expect that two single family residential lots and one duplex residential lot will be created following completion of the rezoning procedure. Mayor Laking inquired concerning a parcel of land adjacent to the parcels to be rezoned and City Planner L. Lee explained that the mentioned parcel was not effected by the proposed rezoning.
