Respectfully submitted, item I Re: Rezoning Application R#15-72, Legal: Lot 12, D.L. 380, Plan 1392, Address: 2548 Lougheed Highway Area: 1.74 ac. - see attached map. Request: To rezone from RS-1 to Development Area. Comments: Due to the location of the property and the awkward shape the applicant wishes to develop the property on a strata title basis. After some discussion the Committee agreed a buffer of trees and a fence should be along the Lougheed Highway. The Committee further agreed that a cul-de-sac should be crcated at the east end of Gordon Avenue to accommodate the traffic for that area. Recommendation: The Planning and Zoning Committee recommends to the Municipal Council approval in principal subject to the reaction of the Department of Highways toward the application. The Planning and Zoning Committee further recommends to the Municipal Council that the, sketch rending be submitted to the Design Panel for discussion. Address: 2657 Shaughnessy Street Area: irregular - see attached map, Request: To rezone from C-3 to C=4, Commenta: The applicant wishes to have the soning changed in order to accommodate en addition to the building. The addition will contain offices for the store, enabling the applicant to utilize the first floor as retail sales area.
