May 26th, 1986 791 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Counct! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall on Monday, May 26th, 1986, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R, Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown and Recording Secretary D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: BL/01/86/05/26/01 Bylaw No. 2176: To rezone: Those portions of lots 2,3,4, and 5, Plan 6269; and Lots 1,2,3,4,5, and 6, Plan 6358; lying North of the Highway shown on Statutory Right-of- Way Pian 68301 (Mary Hill Bypass); In District Lots 231 and 232, New Westminster District;, now zoned RS~Z (Single Family Residential): from RS-2 (Single Family Residential) to RS-1 (Single Family Residential) ; Those portions of Lots 2, 3, and 5, Plan 6269; and Lots 1, 2, and 3, Plan 6358; lying South of the Highway shown on Statutory Right-of-Way Plan 68301 (Mary Hil! Bypass); In District Lots 231 and 232, New Westminster District; from RS-2 (Single Family Residential) to C-1 (Local Commercial) That portion of Lot 4, Plan 6269; lying South of the Highway shown on Statutory Right-of-Way Plan 68301 (Mary Hil! Bypass); In District Lot 232, New Westminster District; from RS-2 (Single Family Residential) to C-3 (Community Commercial) This property is located in the 1800 Block Harbour Street (both north and south of the Mary Hill Bypass) and the proposed rezoning would permit the subdiviston of properties in the 1800 Block Harbour Drive bisected by the Mary Hi!! Bypass and to permit single family residential use on those parts of the property lying north of the Bypass and commercial use of the property lying south of the Bypass, Including, on the lot proposed to be zoned C-3, a neighbourhood public house. ‘, Letters were received from: Mrs. N. Lund, 1516 Rita Place, May 23rd, 1986 expressing opposition to the proposed rezoning for a pub stating there could be a problem with drinking and driving.
