FIRE. LUT ARRAS AND SPRINKLER BEGQULATIONS

13.1.

Those areas zonrd to permit commercial, industrial,
dnatitutional and multiple-fLamily residential use by the
Zoning Bylaw, as amended or re-enacted from time to time, are
established as fire limit arwas,

Within the fire limit areas, fire sprinklers shall be
dinetolled in all industrial, commercial, institutional and
multdefanily residential buildings constructed, addwd to or
altered, pursuant to a budlding permit application made after
February 18, 1991,

Where Section 13.2 requires installation of a £ire eprinkler
system, the building shall be provided with a fire sprinkler
fyetem in accordance with tho National Fire Protection
Association and the Budiding Code standards for the
installation of fire aprinklers.

13.4.1. additions or alterations whick have a construction
value of less than 25% of the assessed value of the
budiding prior to the addition or alteration;

All additdons and alterations to a building commenced pursuant
to any building permit applications made after February 18,
1991 shall be considered cumulatively for the purpose of
establishing the valuation and floor area limitations in

Section 13.4.

A building permit shall not be issued for the construction or
alteration of a buiiding referred to in Section 13.2 unless
the applicant submits a design drawing showing the location
where fire aprinklers will be ingtalled and pays the foe
prescribed in Schedule "K" to thia Bylaw.

MOVING OF BULLDINGS,

14.1

No person shall move any building without first obtaining a
building moving permit.
