Deputy City Engineer SUBJECT: AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION, PRATRIE/OXFORD & WESTWOOD/WOODLAND INTERSECTIONS Recommendations: 1. That the contract for traffic signul installations at the Prairie/Oxford and Westwood/Woodland intersections be awarded to Trans-Western Electric Ltd. at their tendered price of $95,550.00. That $40,000.00 be allocated from the roads development cost charges reserve fund for the traffic signal installation at the Prairie/Gxford intersection. Background & Comments: Four Tenders were received on November 5, 1990 for the above noted contract. All Tenders were complete and the low Tender, Trans-West Electric Ltd. are judged to be capable of doing the work and have committed themselves to completion of the construction within 70 calendar days of the award.
