Re: Nuclear Weapons Legal Action

We wish to acknowledge with thanke receipt of your letter dated July
25th, 1988 concerning the above noted subject and in reply thereto we would
adviise that when the same was placed before a regular meeting of the Municipal
Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam heid on August 15th
1988 the following resolution was passed:

“That the letter from the City of Victoria, July 25th, 1988 regarding
Nuciear Weapons Legal Action Group be tabled until a full Council is present
and further information is received,”

By copy of this letter to the Nuclear Weapons Legal Action Group we
are asking that they provide any further information that they think would
assist our Council in making a decision on this matter. .
