$1,500 damages to four homes. Approximately $200 damages to a childs bedroom when
the bed was ignited from a faulty electrical outlet. $200 damages to home when
the wall was burned from faulty stove pipes and chimney. Relatively no damage
when contact cement ignited in a home workshop, when fumes were ignited from a
-heater. 4800 damage to a barn caused when an electrical heater ignited hay in a
Stall which housed a Doberman Pincer and her seven pups. There was very little
structural damage, most of the damage was to. smoke damaged hay in the loft. Little
damage was caused to a front porch when a dog overturned 4a barbeque. $2C0 damage

to a home caused from a grease fire on a kitchen stove. No damage resulted from e
car fire,

We have no actual money loss to a C.P.R. box car but it was extensively damaged.
This refrigeration box car was in to be repaired when it caught fire from an alco-
hol refrigeration burner. The insulation and liner was all that burned but the
heat generated badly damaged the outer metal.

The department has been called a number of times to Hawthorne Lodge because of
malfunctioning fire alarm systems. The company installing these alarms have not

totally rectified the situation but feel they know what is causing the malfunce
tions,

25 inhalator calle: 4 motor vehicle accidents, 16 home emergencies consisting
of heart attacks, diahetes attacks, 4 people fell in homes causing injuries,

. internal hemorrhaging and a man suffering from emphysema.
