Takako Suzuki's New Work runs from
May 12th to May 31st, with an opening
on May 16th from | to 4 pm.

Takako says, “My mew work represents
a continuation of my interest in slip-
trated and painted patterns inspired in
part by historical antecedents. I also
continue to be drawn to the use of mul-

tiple feet on bowl forms. The gestural
possibilities of feet are explored foexpress
either a sense of sturdiness and stability
or one of imminent movement where feet

A day tour by the Northwest Designer
Crafismen organization oul of Wash-
ington State will visit Granville Island on
Sunday, June 28th. Many of them will
be eating their picnic lunch al Sutcliffe
Park on the island about 12 neon, and
they invile B.C. crafispeople to join them
there. Their tour is being led by Lloyd
Herman, and includes the UBC Museum
of Anthropology and the Canacian Craft
Museum im additien to CABC and
Crafthouse, and the Gallery of B.C.
