The City Planner then explained that the property was located on the South Side of Cameron Avenue between Brown Street and Broadway Street and that the rezoning was being undertaken to facilitate the subdivision of the property into 16 separate lots to be used for various industrial purposes. Mr. C. Pekrul, 1744 Morgan Avenue, expressed concern about the proposed closure of Cameron Avenue and stated that this would make the subdivision of his property on the north side of Cameron Avenue more difficult. The City Planner assured Mr. Pekrul that an adequate subdivision arrangement could be prepared for the subdivid- able property on the north side of Cameron Avenue and Alderman Traboulay suggested that this matter be further discussed at a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Committee to which the owners of that property, and other interested residents, could be invited. Mrs. I. Kaschke, 1723 Cameron, inquired concerning the uses allowed under M-1 and M-3 zoning and the City Planner briefly deseribed the permitted uses. Mrs. Kaschke further inquired concerning Sunday use of the property and Mayor Laking informed her that the City exerclses no control over Sunday operation.
