That a restriction be included in the permit to restrict the height of the home constructed on Lot 11 to a maximum of 11 meters, measured from the highest point of the curb fronting this lot. BACKGROUND: The Public Meeting for the subject Development Variance Permit Application was held on January 17, 1994. Approval of the Development Variance Permit was deferred, pending additionai information to address the two main concerns that were expressed by area residents. These concerns include: 1. Area residents claimed that only eight lots were originally proposed for the site. 2. The height of the new building on lot 11 may obstruct the views of existing residences. DISCUSSION: Planning Staff investigated the background of the subdivision and could not find any previous plans or submissions to support the area resident's claim that there were to be only eight lots created on the subject site.
