BESIDE GORDON MANOR The following is background information and a cost estimate for the proposed bollards and No Post guard rails for Hastings St. east side of Gordon Manor as requested. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: Attached is a report regarding vehicles travelling on private property at Gordon Manor. The Public Works Committee has requested a cost estimate for the installation of bollards or "No-Post" guard rails along the Hastings St.(east side) of Gordon Manor. The motion to install these barricades was defeated in Council on January 20th, 1992,(See attached reports) COSTS: Option i Install 10 wooden boulards approx. 1.5m apart along the east side of Gordon Manor to cover approx. 15m of open access. 10 boulards approx. .6m high with .3m below ground level= 9m length of 20cm x 20cm treated wood @ $14.00/m = 1 Trades HI @ $30.17 for 4 hrs.= 2 Trades I @ $23.76/hr for 4 hrs= minidump PW @ $10.88/hr. for 4 hrs= continued
