Present Operation

We are now operating on a daily basis from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m,

as a drop-in centre and courselling service, we are vurrently offering

both individual and family counselling and will be expanding thses
services, Our more recent activities have included a Corn Roast with
eorn from the Poco House garden, "Popcorn Nights", ‘coffee hours, and
are now in the middle of planning a Christmas Party. Also, on Friday,
December 6th, at 10:00 p.m., a videotape illustrating our operation
will be televised on Channel 10, and will be viewed in our activities

with regards to staff, we are in the process of hiring a new
Director and two part-time youth workers. We are planning to be ina
full steff position again within two weeks,

The objectives of Poco House wiil continue to be:

1) To provide a dropmin faciiity for young people
in which we can encourage them to find alternatives

to drug use,
