SUBJECT: Signs along Lincoln Avenue -
Works and Services Committee, April 2, 1985

RECOMMENDATION:

That Stop signs be installed at the intersections of
Somerset Street, Killarney Street, Oakdale Street, Evergreen Street,
and Richmond Street where these Streets intersect Lincoln Avenue.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

A request was received for a stop sign at Somerset and
Lincoln Avenue. The Committee reviewed the accident records and found
that there was no particular accident problem at this location,
However, Lincoln Avenue is built to a collector street standard west
of Cedar Drive and the Committee felt that it would be appropriate to
deal with this collector in the same way as other collectors

throughout the City.
