SUBJECT: "No Parking" Signs on Dominion Avenue ~
Public Works Committee, November 15, 1983.

RECOMMENDATION:

That "No Parking at any TIlme" signs be Installed on
the south side of Dominion Avenue trom the dyke gates toa
~polnt 24 meters west of the dyke gates.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

This. parking restriction [s requIred by the City
Engineering Department In order to retain access to the dyke by
service vehicles. . There amount of dyke use by the
public. who ed at the end.of Dominion
Avenue. In the gate being blocked for

access to the dyke.

' These signs have already been Instailed on the
Instructions of the City Engineer and Counell Is requested to
amend the Traffle Bylaw +o accommodate this change,
