The Onchard Valley Estates Strata Council has approached the Leisure Activities Committee with a nequest to build an adventure playground on the city Lot adjacent to their complex (2398 Atkins Ave.) The committee wrote to the owner of the duplex Lot adjacent to 2398 Atkins Avenue asking 4f they had any objections to the proposed playground. As the committee has received no objections fom the owner, the folowing recommendations are made for Council's consideration: 1. That the city owned Lot at 2398 Atkins Avenue be considered a city park. 2. That the City of Port Coquitlam construct three pieces of adventure playground equipment on the Lot. 3.. That the Orchard’ Valley Strata Council give the city $800.00 to cover the cost (Of the equipment. ITEM IT: MARY HILL PARK SITE. The majority of city parks are named after the streets on which they are Located. The Leisure Activities Committee recommends that the new park on Many Hil be named Eastern Drive Park.
