Dear Sir, We are pleased to submit the following terms and conditions regarding waste disposal by your corporation at our Sanitary landfill at Fraser Mills. 1. The Company agrees to take delivery cf and the Corporation agrees to deliver, for a period of two (2) years commencing March 1, 1970, all the waste material gathered by or on behalf of the Corporation to the disposal site, with the exception of car bodies, large stumps and treck loads of old tires. 2. %It is herby agreed between the parties that, if the corporation shall, on or before the 25th day of January, 1972 by writing to the company, have given notice of its desire to have the term of this agreement renewed, the corporation shall have the term of this agree- ment renewed to the 9th day of June, 1974, 3. (a.) From the Ist day of March, 1970 +. the 31st day of December, 1970 the Corporation shall pay to the Company sum of .15 cents for each pound of waste material delivered. ($ 3.00 per ton.) (b.) From the Ist day of January, 1971 to the jist day of December, 1971, the Corporation shall pay at a rate of +1575 cents for each pound. ( $ 3.15 per ton.) From the 1st day of January, 1972 to the 31st day of December, 1972, the Corporation shall pay at a rate of -165 cents for each pound. ($ 3.30 per ton.) From the lst day of January, 1973, to the 31st day of December, 1973, the Corporation shall pay at a rate of -1725 cents for each pount. ($ 3.45 per ton.) From the lst day of Jan., 1974 to the 9th day of June, 1974, the Corporation shall pay at a rate of .18 cents per pound. ($ 3.60 per ton.) . R.A. The disposal site shall be opened to take delivery of waste material from the Corporation trucks and from residents and businesses between the hours cf 7:00 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. from Monday to Friday, from 7:60 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturdays and from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sundays and statutory holidays except Christmas and New Years Day, and an agent of the Company shall be in attendance at all times between the said hours. 5. Residents and business establishments may deliver waste material to the disposal site for disposal at a minimum charge of 50¢ per load under 400 pounds and 15¢ for each additional 100 pounds. 6. The Company shall operate and maintain other equipment 7. The Company shall maintain a weight scale for the purpose of weighing the Corporations trucks or other moter vohicles to determine their pay loads before dumping. The weighins shall be done in the presence of a servant or agent of the Corporation and a stamped weight ticket bearing the weight before dumping,the tare weight, date and time of delivery. A servant or agent of the Company shall calculate the net weight and enter same in 4 proper register and each entry Shall be initialled by the servant or agent of the Corporation. 8. All waste material, or any portion deposited by the Corporation at the disposal site shall become the property of the Company. 9. The Company shall maintain the disposal site in a tidy and Sanitary condition so as to prevent injury to the health of any Person or persons. 20. The Company shall be deemed to be an independent contractor and in no sense a servant or agent of the Corporation and the Corporation shall in no manner be responsible for the debts and liabilities of the Company. 11. The Company shall not make an alternative or variation in, or addition to, or deviation or ommission from the terms of this agree- ment without the written consent of the Corporation,
