Our sustaining fund campaign is now at the half-way
mark and we can report with pride (and without any desire
to rest on our laurels) that we already have eight Honor Press
Builders and 72 Press Builders. ‘

The name of our eighth Honor Press Builder is added
posthumously — Charles B. Darwin, for
Many years a consistent supporter, who died
last month. Instead of sending floral tributes -
to his funeral friends contributed $100 in
his name and in addition, we have a pledge
for $60 in his name. That’s the way Charlie
Darwin would have wanted it.

Another Press Builder is nine-year-old
Georgie Hewison who has made good on the pledge he gave
-™e personally when I was in Campbell River at the opening
of our drive. Congratulations, Georgie!

And, to conclude, the first press club to reach its pledged
objective is Sointula. Pledged $125. That's the way we
all like it.
