SUBJECT: "Ride of a Lifetimett = Works and Services Committee
November 5, 1985

Recommendation:

That Council grant permission for Ride of a Lifetime through
Port Coquitlam on the 30th of May and the 4th of June 1986.

Background and Comments:

The attached letter from Vacations Unlimited describes the
special event for EXPO 86 called " The Ride of a Lifetime". The route
they intend to use will remain on the provincial Lougheed Highway and
Is endorsed by the R.C.M.P. and the Department of Highways. They have
requested permission from the City for this undertaking and the
Committee concurs with their request. ,
