Shardlow Director of Building Permits and Inspections SUBJECT: Block Watch Survey -— Port Coquitlam (Protective Services Committee Meeting January 23, 1992) R.C.M.P. Cst. Donna Kaluza made a presentation to the Protective Services Committee explaining how a survey circulated in the City would benefit the Block Watch Program. Some as, ecta of Emergency Preparedness could also be linked with the Block Watch. The community survey would include diatribution through Port Coquitlam. There are two surveys; one is for the current Block Watch participants, the other is for residents who are non participants of Block Watch. Cet. Kaluza is requesting that the City be identified as supporting the survey and the efforts of the Block Watch program. Council's support is needed at the earliest possible date to meet scheduling commitments. A representative from the R.C.M.P. is available to speak on this matter.
