Re: Proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2285

As T must be out of the City on the hearing date of this
Proposed Amendment, July 6, I wish to register my strong
disapproval in writing.

Our property was purchased with the full understanding that
we were making a good investment for ourselves and our

i children.

This Proposal, if approved, would DEVALUE our property
immediately.

| (Our purchase was made with an eye for the quiet and
residential area.)

Traffic on the Pitt River Road is already a major probiem.
ae Tt is inadequate for the amount of traffic it presently
; : . carries. A person has already been killed on it and @
motorcyclist hurt. The children walk on the shoulder of
iN . . the road for lack of sidewalks. With Citadel Place, |
. Citadel Heights, Harbourview, etc. all emptying on Pitt |
River Road the addition of this Proposal would case the
' present problem to reach astronomical proportions.

We are very much against this Proposal and trust you will
reconsider the zoning to single family.
