Responsibilities .

Thank you for yqus letter of February 14, 1984. This office
has reviewed the issue of responsibility of the maintenance and operating
costs of the proposed streetl Lghting with our Victoria Offices and advise
you of our amended position, as tollows:

We now agree that the subject intersection is techaleally a
Municipal intersection, although we maintain it will not -
function as a standard intulsection, aml cherefore tute bo apply
our standard cost sharing artvengement:, as outlinéd itn Clause 8.1.2

intersection, —

We maintain that the six (6) luminaires between tha intersections B /S0,00 x | |

of the Municipality. We of course would carry out the maintenance ‘

works and will bill your ofrice directly. We feel this issue is

ciearly outlined in Clause 6.2.3 and is in practise in a number of

other municipalities,

As any further compréamise is not possiblu as it would effect
this long standing policy, ag agreed to and accepted by other municipalitiag,
