Carried. From the City Administrator, October 7th, 1976 advising that in their September l6th, 1976 letter, School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) advises that the Board of School Trustees has further considered the acquisition of property on Reeve Street for a school site and have decided against the purchase of the preperty at this time. The City Administrator further noted that there is presently a resolution on the books to sell the site to the School Board. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That the resolution previously passed with respect to the sale of property on Reeve Street to School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) for a school site, be rescinded. Carried. From the City Administrator, October 7th, 1976 concerning a request from the City Engineer to call Tenders for replacement of the Zamboni Ice Machine at an estimated cost of $21-25,000.00, and the City Engineer's car, and recommending that Tenders be called for the replacements and further that funds be taken from the Machine and Equipment Reserve Fund. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That as recommended by the City Administrator, October 7th, 1976, Tenders be called for the replacement of the Zamboni Ice Machine and the City Engineer's car; AND THAT funds for the purchases be taken from the Machine and Equipment Reserve Fund. Carried. In speaking to the foregoing resolution, Alderman Traboulay suggested that the City Engineer's car be a ‘compact’ size vehicle and it was generally agreed by the Council that a 6
