What does a kid’s room
and a kitchen have in
common? Not much on
the surface and, in fact,
at first glance, these two
rooms appear to be the
most dissimilar pair in
the house.

But, according to Jay
Jupiter, New York
custom cabinet maker,
the two rooms have much
in common - beginning
with. space and storage
needs. A child’s room,
like a good kitchen, says
Jupiter, must be
pleasant, inviting, ac:
commedate several

functions and provide

In this child’s bedroom,
Jupiter disigned and built
a handsome, functional
room that will .“graw”
with the child. Using

The wall units illustrate
the attention to detail and
