SPRING SAFETY MEET TO BE HELD MAY 45 IWA Regional Convention delegates gave approval to a Regional Executive Board recommendation to alter the structure of future Regional Safety Conferences. The Executive Board proposed that a_ two-day seminar. type conference be held immediately prior to the Regional Convention and a similar two-day conference be held each spring in the In- terior. The recommendation stated that while there is a definite need for a conference to deal with resolutions and reports, a conference and seminar to deal with -specific problems and resolutions would lead to a much greater mutual un- derstanding of safety problems. Following adoption of the recommendation, the delegates supported the request of the Regional Safety Council to hold next year’s spring Safety Conference May 4-5, in Prince George.
