Eng., City Engineer Draimage Problema - 1875 Dorset Avenue ittee Meeting of December 30, 1991) That Council approve the installation of a "soak-away" type catch basin in the lane directly west of 1875 Dorset Avenue based on an estimated cost of $1,500. That $1,500 be allocated from the Public Works Special Capital Expenditure Reserve Fund for this purpose. The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project Technician regarding a letter from Charles and Lillian Fayne of 1875 Dorset Avenue requesting drainage improvements. A permanent solution to this problem would involve the installation of a catch basin and a storm sewer at an estimated cost of $12,000. As an interim solution, a "soak-away" type catch basin could be installed for $1,500. There are other soak-away type catch basins in the area that are still functioning. If there are problems with the soak-away catch basin in the future, a pipe storm sewer line could be installed at that time.
