That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to endorse the assignment of
the Westview Building Scheme from Western Mortgage to Great Projects and Saud

Castle.

From the City Clerk, July 28, 1989 referring to Voting Delegates MAIBC.

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That in accordance with Article 6.13 cf the Reciprocal Agreement Alderman
W.W. Stewart be appointed the Voting Delegate of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam to the Municipal Insurance Association of British Columbia;

AND THAT Alderman M.D. Gates and Alderman M.R. Wright be appointed
Alternate Voting Delegates.

From the City Clerk, August 4, 1989 referring to the Greater Vancouver
District Development Services function.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the Board of the Greater Vancouver Regional District be notified
before August 31, 1989 that until further notice the City of Port Coquitlam
will no longer share in the cost of the Regional District's management of
development under Part 29 of the Municipal Act.

Carried.

Aldermen Farnworth and Wright voted
against the Resolution.

Prior to passage of the above noted resolution, the following resolution
was proposed:

That the resolution regarding the G.V.R.D. Development Services Function
be deferred until the G.V.R.D. has an opportunity to make a presentation to
the Council.
