of October, 1982 to present the preliminary plans for the proposed new
Justice. Building complex to the public. |

The. meeting reconvened at 8:25 p.m.

CORRESPONDENCE & PETITIONS:

The City Clerk advised receipt of Petition 1 regarding violent
crimes.

seconded by Alderman Lakinag:

That the petition on violent crimes be made available for signing
at City Hall and the Library;
AND THAT signs regarding the petition be posted at all Municipal
Buildings.
Carried.
Alderman Vater voted against the resolution.
REPORTS:
From the Finance Committee, September 2lst, 1982 being a Statement of
Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,194,347.13.

being a Statement of Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,194,347.13,
be approved.

That Council alternate Council members each year by sending only

the Mayor and one half the Council to the U.B.C.M. conventions in the

coming years.
