Carried. From the Planning and Zoning Committee, November Ist, 1979 regarding the Official Regional Plan Update with reference to the Dominion Avenue - Lougheed Highway Triangle. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That the report of the Planning and Zoning Committee, November lst, 1979 regarding the Official Regional Plan Update referring to the Dominion Avenue — Lougheed Highway Triaugle, be received for information. Carried. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution discussion ensued. Alderman Laking suggested the 1980 Planning and Zoning Committee review the possibility of applying for removal of the Dominion Avenue - Lougheed Highway Triangle from the Agricultural Land Reserve. From the Environmental Protection Committee, November 2nd, 1979 recommending that without altering the fee structure for pathological waste disposal contained in the pound by~laws of Port. Coquitlam, Port Moody and Coquitlam the Cou. tils of the threé municipalities request and authorize the Poundkeeper to institute a system of disposal without charge of the pathological waste due to local animal hospitals providing a community service of receiving dead or fatally injured animals from persons being non owners of said animals.
