said recommendations.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking
referred to a plan of the area and further explained the Committee's
recommendations and Mr. Jack Arnold, speaking on behalf of the residents
adjacent to the park, commented on the proposals.

From the Public Works Committee, August 4th, 1978 concerning a
request from the District of Coquitlam for permission to extend a water~
main to provide water service to the Coughlan property at the north end
of Devon Road in the District of Coquitlam and recommending that permission
be granted.

That the recommendation of the Public Works Committee, in
August 4th, 1978 with respect to a request from the District of Coquitlam
for permission to provide water service to the Coughlan property at the |

From the Public Works Committee, August 4th, 1978 regarding the
purchase of a sewer alarm panel and recommending that the quotation from
Honeywell in the amount of $1,657.00 to provide the panel and connect
same, be accepted.

From the Public Works Committee, August 4th, 1978 with regard to a
request from a delegation from the Westwood Park Area to have Patricia
Avenue stopped at Graham Street and made into a cul-de-sac and advising
that the Committee does not recommend the cul-de~sacing of Patricia

Avenue.
